The temple offers Jyuzu (prayer beads bracelet) crafting classes for JPY 2000-6000.
Visitors can choose their own stones for the bracelet.

The temple also offer shakyo (sutra copying) classes for JPY 1000 where visitors can learn the art of sutra copying using traditional writing materials. The classes run for about 15 minutes.

Nikko Toshogu Shrine is a memorial to Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founder of the Tokugawa Shogunate, which for over 250 years ruled Japan until 1868. The halls in the main shrine building are dedicated to the spirits of Tokugawa Ieyasu, as well as two of Japan’s famous historical figures, Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Minamoto Yoritomo.
