TRAVELLING FROM KYOTO TO NARA

Getting to Nara from Kyoto is easy, around 45 minutes on the JR Nara Line. I highly recommend traveling on the Kintetsu express train “Aoniyoshi” which takes 35 minutes from Kyoto to Nara on the Kintetsu line. You can reserve seats online or buy tickets at the Kintetsu Kyoto and Nara stations or through travel agencies.

There is a Starbucks close to Kintetsu Kyoto station, near the Aoniyoshi stop. Starbucks is crowded so get take-out and enjoy it on board the train – can board Aoniyoshi train 15 minutes prior to departure.

The train also offers convenient access to various amenities such as restrooms, snack bars, and Wi-Fi, ensuring that passengers have a pleasant and comfortable journey.
