STARBUCKS RESERVE® ROASTERY TOKYO is a popular spot in Nakameguro, a 15-minute walk from Nakameguro station. The building was designed by the world-renowned architect Kengo Kuma. It is the biggest Starbucks in the world and it is the only store in Japan which has a roastery. The interior of the store has cherry tree designs inspired by Meguro River. It’s always full on weekends and holidays – on busy days they distribute numbered tickets. The menu here is completely different from other Starbucks stores. You’re in for a little surprise – their regular coffee price is set at a higher price and they don’t have drinks such as frappuccinos.

Perfect spot for sakura (cherry blossom) viewing

Starting from this year you can reserve the terrace seats!

During the cherry blossom viewing season, you had to line up from early morning to get numbered tickets until last year. But starting this year, you can reserve terrace seats for a fee. You can reserve in English from the Table Check site.
